Trauma: The Impact On Your Body And Your Life – Guest Matthew Paetz
Trauma can impact your body and your life. Most of us journey through life, often merely attempting to survive from an early age. We confront a multitude of challenges, stress, and trauma, and we often find ourselves striving to conform to the expectations of others. We begin frequently setting aside our true selves to exist in a chaotic world, all in an effort to evade conflict, gain acceptance, and experience love. Additionally, we tend to view the world, ourselves, and others through the lenses of our own stress and trauma. We often become captives of our stress and trauma, failing to even recognize the extent of their hold on us. This not only leads to an unfulfilling life but can also cause physical illness.
You have the power to transform your pain into purpose. You can heal, and you have the ability to leave an extraordinary impact on the world. In this episode, Dr. Jamie Gilliam and special guest Matthew Paetz discuss how trauma healing can heal your body and change your life.
Matthew Paetz, MBA, MS, is an expert in neuroscience and childhood trauma. His insights and experiences offer a fresh and transformative perspective on how we can navigate life’s challenges. Matthew’s core philosophy centers around the idea of turning pain into purpose and living a life of creation versus conditioning. He firmly believes that by embracing our past traumas and channeling them into a positive force, we can not only heal ourselves but also create a life that is truly fulfilling.
Matthew encourages us to break free from societal norms and the limitations imposed by our past experiences. He teaches that we have the power to redefine our paths and rewrite our narratives, ultimately taking control of our destinies. His unique approach to changing perspectives is truly inspiring. He helps us see ourselves, our relationships, and the world in an entirely new light.
