Kim Dietrich ~ Editorial Director

Kim joined the Inspired Choices Network in 2020 as an Executive Producer, before stepping into her role as Editorial Director in 2023. She oversees all written content produced by ICN Publishing and has her hand in all parts of ICN’s content and publishing strategy.

Additionally, Kim operates her own business as writer, editor, and content strategist, and she works with many of the hosts of Inspired Choices Network. She writes for entrepreneurs and businesses across the health, wellness, education, and tech industries. She has a real knack for pulling at the threads of content to form stories that resonate. Her curious mind serves her well – she excels in taking complex ideas and translating them into easily understandable, well-written content, a skill that serves her well in her role as Editorial Director with ICN Publishing.

Kim began her career as a professional writer early in life. By the time she’d received her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Waterloo, she’d been published in a Statistics Canada trade journal and had taken a turn as a technical writer producing ‘task-oriented software documentation’. Working in some of Canada’s finest restaurants, she developed an encyclopedic knowledge of food and drink and soon married that expertise with her passion for the page, freelancing for various food and lifestyle magazines. When she wasn’t running restaurants, she was writing about them. Following a brief sojourn on the East coast where she opened a restaurant in her living room, she soon returned to Ontario to raise a family. Along the way Kim led fiscal & business operations for several corporate restaurants, managed and mentored teams, and worked for several years as a hospitality recruiter.
