Anne Plaisance is a French-born visual artist, “artivist,” and advocate for women’s empowerment whose work transforms personal and collective trauma into resilience and change. Based near Boston, she uses painting, installation, and social practice to make the invisible visible—addressing themes such as gender-based violence, identity, and hope. Her award-winning projects, including Wonder Women Now and Becoming More, celebrate courage, healing, and self-leadership through creativity. Exhibited internationally in over 100 shows across Europe, Asia, and the U.S., Anne has been featured in The Boston Globe, Le Monde Magazine, and Artscope. A recipient of multiple cultural grants and international awards, she blends art and activism to ignite transformation.
