He has served as a full-time coach, nonprofit board president, seminary mentor, and pastor in Boston for 34 years. He holds a Doctor of Ministry, focused on the urban context, and is known for his discernment and his clear and straightforward communication. He coaches, teaches, trains, and facilitates leadership seminars, workshops, and retreats around the country and in other nations. Tom now lives in Richmond, VA, with his wife Brenda of 43 years. They have four adult children.
