Sacred Leadership with Sherisse 

A year ago, a direction came and I rejected it outright. This is the story of how the Divine patiently walked me back to the work I was made for — and what happened the day I finally said yes.

This is a solo episode, and a personal one.
About a year ago, an idea came to me about who I was meant to work with. And I said no. Flatly. I had my reasons, and I went off in the opposite direction, certain I knew better.
The Divine had other plans — and a lot more patience than I did.

In this episode, I share:
The direction I resisted, and the honest, unflattering reason I pushed it away.
How it came back — not by force, but through three quiet conversations and finally through my own daughter, who saw what I couldn’t.
The moment in my office with a friend that showed me I was already doing this work, I just hadn’t named it.
What I’ve come to understand about how much men carry, and the one thing most of them were never given.
A real-time lesson in receiving a direction without immediately trying to force it into being.
The reminder my own spirit gave me: you’ll build it, and they will come.

This is an episode about resistance, surrender, and the strange grace of being walked home to the very thing you swore you’d never do.

And toward the end, I share something new that’s coming. I won’t name it yet — it isn’t fully formed, and that’s exactly the point of this episode. But if you’re a man carrying something heavy, or you love one who is, stay close. There’s going to be a place for that soon.
