In The Perfect Storm, Eric and Jaymie Chapple share how lessons from the asphalt field and the healthcare environment can converge into an approach to leadership. Eric brings the perspective of a tradesman who has learned leadership through physical work, changing conditions, team dynamics, and lessons earned under the hard hat. Jaymie brings two decades of nursing, education, care management, and human-centered problem-solving. Their experiences are different, but their purpose is shared.

Together, they will explore how leaders can recognize signals, study their experiences, identify the people and resources around them, and respond to challenges with greater clarity. Rather than relying on one lens or a single prescribed answer, The Perfect Storm demonstrates what becomes possible when lived experience, practical wisdom, collaboration, and purposeful action come together.

Eric and Jaymie Chapple are Human Systems Strategists and co-founders of The Entrepreneurial Hub of the Finger Lakes (TEHFL), where they bring together two distinct perspectives shaped by the skilled trades, healthcare, leadership, and lived experience.

Eric brings decades of real-world experience from the field, where leadership, communication, accountability, and teamwork are tested daily. Jaymie brings more than two decades of experience in nursing, education, care management, and human-centered problem solving.

Together, they explore how people, relationships, roles, environments, and life experiences function as interconnected systems. Their work helps individuals and organizations recognize patterns, uncover overlooked strengths, and turn everyday challenges into opportunities for meaningful growth.

Through their developing frameworks, programs, and communities, Eric and Jaymie believe lasting change begins when people learn to see the system around them differently and intentionally build what comes next.
